IMPERIAL RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH NEXTGENGOLF

BOURBON, MO – Imperial Headwear announced today the extension of its partnership with Nextgengolf, which operates the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA), National High School Golf Association (NHSGA) as well as the City Tour, and was recently acquired by the PGA of America. Imperial Headwear will remain the “Official Headwear of Nextgengolf” for the fourth consecutive year.

“The Imperial brand strives to be synonymous with golf at every level of the game. This partnership with Nextgengolf allows us to achieve that goal and support its mission to grow the game for college club golfers and golfers in their 20s and 30s,” said David Shaffer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Imperial Headwear. “Nextgengolf checks off all the boxes for a social and competitive golf experience.”

Nextgengolf has three core event-based products:
1.) National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) is the largest Collegiate Club Golf Association in the world. The NCCGA runs competitive, co-ed 2-day tournaments during the fall and spring for college students at over 400 colleges nationwide. At the end of each semester, the NCCGA hosts a National Championship, which is the largest college golf tournament in the US. The next championship happening this fall at Winstar Golf Resort and Casino November 15-17th in Thackerville, OK.

2.) City Tour provides golfers 21+ with social and competitive golf experiences. Launched in Boston in 2014, the City Tour has expanded to over 20 cities and will run over 75 tournaments annually.

3.) The National High School Golf Association, dedicated to the overall growth and development of high school golfers across the United States, acts as a centralized entity to help high school golfers, their coaches and families. NHSGA records and benchmarks every state and regional high school golf tournament and will showcase over 50,000 high school golfers on their leaderboards this year. In 2019, the NHSGA will host the inaugural High School Golf National Invitational at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Orlando, FL. This championship event will showcase 348 of the top ranked boys and girls high school golfers.

“Nextgengolf is able to reach both the elite and social golfer, and that is made possible with supporters like Imperial Headwear,” said Kris Hart, Co-Founder and Senior Director of Nextgengolf. “Both of our organization’s values align and we are thrilled to continue our relationship with the Imperial brand.”
