Manage Shotlink Product Management and Spatial teams. Responsible for the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and implementation of applications and spatial deliverables within ShotLink, PGA TOUR’s Leading Edge proprietary scoring system. Partner with and represent the business and user community to determine the required features and functions to meet the company’s mission and strategic goals. Ensure swift determination of product alignment to those strategic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Information Systems or related area required.
  • 12 years related experience required. Project Management or Product Management experience is required, consumer digital products experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as, excellent organizational and project management skills required.
  • Must be results driven and exercise good judgement.
  • Expert knowledge in UI/UX and a strong understanding of  data integration.
  • Ability to learn and understand custom applications.
  • Ability to use script languages considered a plus.
  • Expert level understanding of golf/sports with a focus on data collection.
  • Understanding of modern cloud base architecture required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Creatively lead the development of product ideas, including hardware, software, visualization, and workflow development, with the team. Consult and take direction from the senior management team on implementation but take responsibility for bringing forward ideas to add to the TOUR’s priorities.
  • Overall responsibility for the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and implementation of all applications needed to score an event with ShotLink.
  • Ownership of product/project strategies, timelines, and processes. Oversee ShotLink projects for all Product Managers to ensure focus and sense of urgency is applied to all issues.
  • Act as a liaison between management, Golf Technology, internal partners, and the field regarding ShotLink technology.
  • Responsible for managing project resources and timelines. Managed project teams and was responsible for reporting to Golf Technology management.
  • Subject matter expert and escalation support for assigned applications.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.
