NGF Partnership Continues Shot Scope’s U.S. Connectivity with the Golf Industry, PGA of America Golf Professionals, and Golfers of all Levels. Scotland-based Company Has Established the Most Expansive Lineup of
Distance Measuring and Performance Tracking Devices in Golf
Edinburgh, Scotland … Shot Scope, the golf industry-leader in advanced GPS and, rangefinder and shot tracking technology, today announced its Executive Membership to the National Golf Foundation, the industry trade association trusted to provide the most accurate and objective insights on the state of the game and business of golf.
The alliance with the NGF continues Shot Scope’s U.S. connectivity with the golf industry, PGA of America Golf Professionals, and golfers of all playing levels, as Shot Scope has established the most expansive lineup of distance measuring and performance tracking devices in golf and is the only company to offer game performance tracking across all GPS product categories. Equally important, whether it’s a GPS device, a rangefinder, or performance tracking tags, all Shot Scope products come with free updates and no additional costs or subscription.
According to NGF’s consumer research, approximately 80% of Core golfers in the U.S. (those who play 8+ times a year) use some form of technology while playing — more than 10 million in total.
“We are very excited to become Executive Members of the National Golf Foundation and continue to support the game as a leading innovator of distance measuring and shot tracking products,” said David Hunter, CEO, Shot Scope. “As Shot Scope continues to build off our success in Europe it is important for our brand to partner with leading U.S. based organizations like the NGF.”
Shot Scope’s membership in the NGF comes on the heels of the Company announcing a partnership with the PGA of America’s Golf Retirement Plus™ (GRP) Program to provide PGA of America Golf Professionals the opportunity to earn incentives on the Company’s expansive line-up of product innovations used by hundreds of thousands of golfers around the world.
Backed by alliances with the NGF and PGA of America, Shot Scope now heads to the 2024 PGA Show in Orlando (Booth #1801) to showcase a breadth of game management products, including the recently launched MyStrategy App feature. For the first time, golfers can log onto an app and match their game performance stats with any course they are playing and receive advanced insight on how to play each hole from tee to green.
The MyStrategy feature, which is available exclusively on the Shot Scope mobile app (iOS and Android) or web dashboard, can be used with the Company’s GPS Rangefinders and Smart Watches, and provides golf travelers, competitive tournament players, or any golfer playing a new course the ability to plan ahead by matching their stats and getting advanced insight on how to play every hole.
The debut of the MyStrategy feature follows the launch of seven innovative Shot Scope products in 2023, including the PRO LX+ Rangefinder, X5 Golf Watch, and CONNEX performance tracking tags.
