Orlando October, 2005 – The golf industry’s highest degree in golf instruction has been bestowed on PGA teaching professional Bill Madonna. Bill has always been a leader in the golf instructional industry and has continued his climb to the pinnacles of teaching. "There are over 27,000 members of the PGA of America and less than 1% of them have been designated ‘Master Professionals’. We are extremely proud of Bill’s achievement and realize and appreciate the effects of his credentials on our foundation’s programs," said Nancee Long, Marketing Advisor for the Spirit of Golf Foundation, with which Bill has long been associated as their Director of Instruction.

GOLF MAGAZINE recently released its biennial list of the Top 100 Teachers in America and Bill continues his appearance on the list and has been a member of this elite group of teachers since 1996. "There are great teaching professionals all across America, but based upon our extensive data and arduous selection process, we are confident that Bill totally deserves the highest ranking on our list that recognizes the best of the best," said Lorin Anderson, Managing Editor for Instruction for GOLF MAGAZINE.

Bill is the Director of Instruction at the Bill Madonna Golf Academy located at the Orlando World Center Marriott, Orlando, Florida. The Bill Madonna Golf Academy has been in continuous existence since 1976. Bill has been teaching golf for over 30 years to players ranging from beginners to PGA and LPGA touring professionals. He is a PGA Section Teacher of the Year Award Winner and has an international reputation as an "all around" teacher. His private lessons average 2 to 3 hours using state-of-the-art video and computer analysis, problem related teaching aids and swing enhancing drills. Emphasis is placed on the three most important clubs in your bag; driver, wedge and putter.

"Through certification you join an elite group of PGA professionals who recognize the importance of being among the best in our industry. As you are aware, achieving distinction through education provides you enhanced opportunities and elevates consumer awareness of our profession," says Roger Warren, President of the PGA of America.
