Game Improvement Tips And Techniques Provided

October 25, 2005, Pawleys Island, S.C. — Mel Sole, owner of the on-site Ritson-Sole Golf School at Pawleys Plantation, was the focus of an article on game improvement in the October issue of Golf Illustrated magazine.

The article, entitled "Play Within Yourself," provided an in-depth look at the techniques golfers could use when facing the challenges involved in improving their game. Sole, a "top teacher" according to Golf Magazine who is known for his mental approach to the game, was tapped to provide his unique perspective on game improvement.

"Above all, it is important to have realistic expectations," said Mel Sole, owner and director of instruction at the Ritson-Sole golf school. "Identifying your strengths and weaknesses is one of the first steps you need to take in order to improve your game. However, you want to remember that the process of striving to improve oneself should not take the enjoyment out of the game."
